Services

Penta Completions offer the following services to optimize production and minimize the capital and operating expenses of your pumping oil wells.

 Field Technical Services

Penta will work with your service rig supervisor to provide onsite supervision of any steel or fiberglass rod installation. We ensure proper pin/coupling makeup, handling and proper spacing of your bottom hole pump. This service will provide accurate documentation and quality control of the installation to help maximize the life of your rod string. Service technicians also provide expert fishing services for all types of rod strings.

 Design Services

Vertical Well Rod String Design:

Penta Completions will design the optimum rod string for your well conditions, maximizing production and minimizing capital and operating costs over the life of the well.

Horizontal and Deviated Well Rod String Design:

Using the Lufkin Srod program, Penta can evaluate the side, axial and drag loads for deviated wells. This information allows Penta to design a rod string with guides and scrapers to minimize vertical loading and horizontal side loads.

 Optimization And Troubleshooting Services

Dynamometer Testing and Analysis:

Penta will perform and interpret dynamometer tests allowing Penta and the operator to evaluate actual well conditions, equipment loading and determine optimum methods of increasing productivity or decreasing maintenance costs.

Fluid Levels and Pressure Build-Ups:

In conjunction with dynamometer testing, Penta uses the data from Vogel or Constant PI IPR calculations to accurately calculate pump intake pressures and determine maximum production potential for your wells.

Wellhead Managers:

Penta Completions offers Pump-Off-Controllers for purchase or rent as well as installation, repair and monitoring services. Pump Off Controllers are an excellent way to avoid excessive loading, prevent dry pumping and fluid pound, perform real time displacement analyses and monitor the system from the prime mover to the bottom hole pump. Penta also offers cellular access to these controllers so the wells can be analyzed anytime, from anywhere.

 Inspection Services and Failure Analysis

When rod quality is suspect or unknown, Penta Completions will do a complete inspection of the rods. If there is rod failure, Penta will perform a complete failure analysis including metallurgical tests of any component of a failed rod string or pump.
